The WoofWagPlay box is one of the newer entries in the pet
subscription box arena, and I am happy to say that this box (our second
from them!) shows they are getting even better over time. WWP sends 5 to
8 items that are customized based on your pet's size, needs, and
preferences. They will only send out the items that your pet loves! You
will fill out a pet questionnaire that will cover everything from
favorite tastes to toy behaviors to allergies. This is the most thorough
pet quiz BY FAR and that makes WoofWagPlay the best in customization
among all the boxes for pets.
The last time we reviewed
WoofWagPlay, both greyhound girls loved it.
Sadly my girl Flirty went to the Rainbow Bridge recently, so this will
be the first pet box review that does not feature her. Since Jade knows
that treats and toys are always better when shared, we invited my
nephew's dog, Shadow, to enjoy the goodies and offer her opinions on the
box this time. This Woof Wag Play review covers our September box
(yours will be different since the boxes are customized just for your
pet!)

Jade wasn't going to let the WoofWagPlay box get away! |
|
WoofWagPlay September Box: Packed full of treats and toys! |
|
Shadow said, "This looks interesting!" |
|
The Toys: A bright yellow squeaky branch toy (retail about $5), and an adorable Pet Lou hedgehog that grunts(retail
$5.49) This worked out perfectly as Jade loves the soft toys and Shadow
is better with the rubber ones (she's a stuffy killer.) I was very
impressed that we got two different toys in one box! |
|
The Treats: Whole Life Freeze Dried Pure Lamb Liver Treats
(retail $10.99): These are small cubes of freeze dried liver that the
dogs went crazy for! Both of them begged for these for quite a while
after they were put away. Tumbleweed & Eddie's Lobster Bisque Treats (retail
$7.99): These were also a big hit and Shadow went especially crazy for
them. Apparently she loves seafood! These actually smell like lobster to
me, maybe because they are really clean treats with only a few
ingredients: Oat flour, carrots, lobster, organic kelp, and tomato. Wet Noses Apple & Carrot Treats
(deluxe sample, around $4 retail): Jade has loved all the Wet Noses
treats she's tried and this was also popular. I like the shape of these,
they are a perfect bite size treat for big dogs. |

|
Bowser Beer Beefy Brown Ale
(one bottle, retail around $1.66):This is so incredibly cute! This is a
large bottle of liquid that I used as a food topper tonight (I poured
around 1/3 of the bottle atop her kibble). It got Jade to clean her food
bowl. This is extraordinary, and it made me so happy. It's been a real
struggle getting food into Jade since we lost Flirty. She's been
mourning and her interest in food has been very low, so I've been trying
a lot of different things to get some weight back on her. Nothing
worked until this. Seeing her eat her food with enthusiasm made me so
happy that this one item would have made me love the WWP box, all by
itself. | |
|
Merrick Ranger Rib,
8 to 10" size (retail $2.99): This is a beef rib that features a
natural beef jerky on the bone. It's not only something to keep a dog
busy, but it is also helpful for keeping teeth clean. Merrick is a name I
trust and they make great products so I'm happy to have this as a
special treat for Jade. |
The WoofWagPlay box is really just getting better and
better in my opinion. They only send out high quality treats made in
the US or Canada, and they are committed to going green wherever
possible. To reduce their carbon "paw print," WWP uses eco-friendly
packing (tissue and box are 100% recyclable) and focuses on
biodegradable products and organic treats.
It was
absolutely packed full of fantastic high quality healthy dog treats, TWO
toys, and was basically just a ton of fun for us all. I highly
recommend this box, especially for anyone looking to replace Pawalla
(which recently shut down their subscription box.) Get your WWP here:
