The
FabFitFun VIP Box
is always so much fun that I've really been looking forward to the this
winter
installment for this quarterly box. The box costs
$49.99 per quarter and you always get at least $120 in retail value --
this box had more than a $200 retail value! This FabFitFun review covers
the
FabFitFun VIP box for winter 2013.

The box was really packed full of awesome! |
|
Unboxed. It was hard to be patient enough to set up this photo as I was dying to start playing with all this great stuff! |
|
TruEnergy Inspired Earbuds
($39.99): These cute earbuds have superior sound quality, enhanced
bass, noise reduction, AND they have a built in SoundShare splitter that
lets you listen to music, watch a movie, etc with friends. These are
already hooked up to my iPhone and I'm loving them. Only minor whine is
that I wanted the purple/pink ones, but these are great sound quality so
I can suck it up. |
|
Lorna Jane Bracelet:
($59): From Australian fitness company Lorna Jane, this is designed as a
fitness talisman of sorts. This is called the "Move Nourish Believe"
bracelet (move your body, nourish from the inside
out, and believe in yourself every step of the way!) and is worn by
fitness fans around the world as a reminder to get moving and to stay
committed to a healthy future. Cute and a great message. And hey, after
holiday excess this will definitely be a good visual prod to get moving
and healthy. |
|
The Giving Keys Never Ending Necklace ($55):
This is a celebrity favorite (Michele Williams, Demi Lovato, and
Julianne Hough all have them) that also has a really special message.
Each key is unique, and has a word engraved on it. There are a number of
different inspirational words you can receive and I was really pleased
to get "Strength." The necklace is meant to be worn until you find that
someone needs it more than you, then pass it on. Love the message, love
the key, and think this is the star of the box for me. |
|
I got a beautiful silver key, other variations included bronze and gold colors, with keys in all different shapes and sizes. |
|
Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Cream
($45): I've loved Skyn Iceland products for about a year now so I'm
thrilled to find this full size eye cream in the FFF VIP box! It combats
wrinkles, dark circles, and puffiness. This cream is lightweight and
non greasy, will start this immediately. |
|
MeUndies Gift Card
(value of $20): This is good for anything on the MeUndies site and this
is a great inclusion. I've reviewed MeUndies before and found them some
of the highest quality tees and undies I've ever had. |
|
Beauty for Real Light Up Lip Gloss
($22): I've been lucky enough to get these glosses before in Wantable
and I love them! Not only do they have a handy mirror on the side, but
they also light up via a button on the top of the gloss!) |
|
Bioxidea Miracle 24 Face Treatment
($19): This is a face mask that is made especially to reduce early
signs of premature aging. No matter your age, prevention is something we
all should be doing. I've heard such amazing buzz about this and can't
wait to try it out during a "pampering" night during the holidays with
my sister. |
|
Nyx Love in Florence Palette:
($8): This is one of two extra bonus products that FFF surprised us
with! They send this and the next item because they rank among the best
of the drugstore finds, the type of items that can actually compete with
the big luxury brands quality-wise. I'd agree that Nyx has got some
really nice products and I do love their richly pigmented shadows. |
|
I got the "Ciao Bella" palette! |
|
The second bonus item was the Simple Foaming Cleanser
($7.49). I've already tried this and I'm quite pleased with the rich
foam and the light feel it has. Birchbox also included a Simple product
(eye roller) in one of the "best" boxes earlier this year, so this is
definitely a drugstore brand to watch and use. |
Another great inclusion was a code for five free workouts from
Phsysique57!. This is a $25 value and gives you a great choice of different workouts to try. Looking forward to this.
The
FabFitFun VIP box is really hitting its stride now. They are getting a
great mix of items (fashion, fitness, fun, etc) that appeal to such a
wide range of people. I am thrilled with this box and feel it is
obviously worth the $50 per quarter. They promise at least $120 in
retail value (but usually way exceed that, this time was $200 plus!)
Honestly,
I just wish they'd consider going monthly as I think they are a really
fun PopSugary-type box with more of a fitness focus which I love. I'm
already dreaming about what they might have coming up in the spring box!
This
amazing winter box is already sold out, but you can use the code EARLY5
or FAB5 to get $5 off your first box-- it will be the spring box!
Check it out here (don't forget EARLY5 or FAB5 for the code!):
