PopSugar Must Have Review: December 2013

POPSUGAR Must Have delivers "lifestyle" subscription boxes that really have wonderfully eclectic items that are the "must haves" their editors have discovered in the areas of beauty, fashion, fitness, and home decor. We get a lot of new, trendy, and yet-undiscovered brands and products in these boxes, and this is one of my very favorite boxes to open each month. It truly feels like a box of gifts just for me -- kinda like my birthday every month, and for $39.99/monthly it's more than worth it for the joy it brings.  You can get the price knocked down quite a bit if you go for a longer sub, 3 months, 6 months, or a year, OR you can just try a month for $34.99 when you use the coupon code REFER5 here: PopSugar! On to the PopSugar Must Have December 2013 review!
Everything still in box

Everything unboxed. Lots of goodies this month.
Mixt Studio Gift Wrapping Set (retail $9): It's a set of three wrapping papers and tags. Very cute, I'll use this to wrap the small family gifts and stocking stuffers soon.

ModelCo Fibre LashExtend Mascara (retail $20): This is supposed to be really great mascara, judging by the reviews, so I will look forward to trying it. My favorite thing about this is that like many Modelco products it is really made to use and has a mirror on the side of it.

NC LA Designer Nail Wraps (retail $16): These are certainly seasonally appropriate but even so they just aren't my style. These will become a gift for a teenage cousin who will love them.
Ghiradelli Chocolate Squares, 2 bags (retail $4 and $6 respectively): Wow, lots of chocolate! When I read spoilers and saw they had thrown in two bags of chocolate and caramel popcorn, I thought "way too many sweets." Well, I still think they overdid the sweets this month, however this (or February) would be the best month to do so.  It should be noted that all this candy was scarfed down by me, the boyfriend, and a few friends within two days. So, really, I can hardly say we didn't like it because obviously we ended up loving it. The pumpkin spice caramel...omg yum. I'm trying to resist buying more, and I am not a person who routinely buys this kind of stuff.

Govino "Go Anywhere" Flutes (set of four, retail $12): These are very cute notched champagne flutes that look like glass but they're plastic. The good part of them being plastic is that they won't break, but the bad part is you can't wash them in the dishwasher. Adorable nonetheless. They will likely be used on New Years Eve.
CC Made Artisanal Popcorn (retail $4): I got the caramel corn variety, although I'd been hoping for the Pistachio variety that was also sent out. I must admit that this is the best caramel corn I've had. It lasted around 10 minutes in my home.
Lulu Frost Bracelet (retail $110): This was designed exclusively for PopSugar subscribers, and it's gorgeous. It is really much prettier in person, but I captured it as best as I could in photos. I adore this bracelet, especially the charm.

Beautiful Lulu Frost bracelet!
I was happy with this box even though the nail wraps were a miss. The bracelet alone would have made me happy, so once again I am pleased with PopSugar this month. I can't wait to see what they come up with in January, and it's right around the corner. You can get yours here (don't forget to use REFER5 for a $5 discount!)POPSUGAR
