Walmart Beauty Box Review: Spring 2015

The Walmart Beauty Box is $5 per quarter. It offers a variety of beauty and health products carried by Walmart. Usually, the box has 5 to 7 deluxe samples and a few foils samples as well. There are usually a couple different versions of the box that appear to be dictated by age. Thus far, it appears that people under 35 get more makeup items while those over 35 get more skincare items. The box below is the under 35 box.

Nice full box for $5!

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara. Retail $8.50. This is said to make lashes 117 % longer in a month. Sign me up! So far, I'd say it's good for lengthening but I'm not noticing significant thickening. A two to three coater that I may buy again.

Dove Go Fresh Nutrium Moisture Body Wash in Mandarin & Tiare Flower. Deluxe sample size 1.8 fl oz, retails about $.50: I've had Dove body wash from this box before and it was excellent. This is a new scent for me and I love the orangey smell!

Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume Sample: This is a spray sample and it's great! Usually, I don't care for perfume samples too much, but this one is unique. It's actually a black fluid that dries and becomes clear quickly.

Schwartzkopf Essence Ultime Shampoo and Conditioner, retail about $.75 each: Both of these 1.7 oz bottles will last me quite a while, plenty to get a good idea of whether I like it or not. Looking forward to trying them. Not loving the smell, unfortunately.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Booster Facial Cleanser, retail about $.50: This is a small travel tube of cleanser. Not super excited, but it will be handy for traveling in the future.

All in all, I liked this Walmart Beauty Box. It's hard to hate on a $5 box. As long as I get at least one item I'll get decent use from, I'm happy.
