Peach Dish Review

The Peach Dish box is something I've been wanting to try for quite a while because I really enjoy the concept of making my own gourmet meals at home -- and having everything I need to do so delivered to my doorstep!

You can choose a box that makes two meals for two (the box you see in this Peach Dish review) or a box that makes meals for four. The box for two is $50 per week, and the box for four is $90 per week.
Everything was carefully packed, and kept cool with ice packs that were still frozen when they arrived. The items were in very pretty organza drawstring bags, with each bag holding the ingredients for one meal.

Recipe card!
The recipe card, flip side: These are excellent instructions, detailed ones that are still simple enough for nearly anyone to follow.
Miso soup! It was delicious. If I make this again, I'm going to add some cubed up tofu.
The main dish, the Beef & Broccoli with Jasmine rice. This was probably better than any Beef & Broccoli dish I've had at chinese restaurants, so I was really pleased with it.
The ginger particularly shined through to give it an extra kick and the beef was really high quality - delicious. This is about half of the total food made in this photo, so as you can see the box for two could feed two extremely hungry people or three people with average appetites. I loved that they included chopsticks and even fortune cookies and tea for after dinner!

Chopping up Rosemary and preparing to put the fresh mozarella in the turkey meatballs.
We liked this so much, it was the favorite between the two meals. The olives were actually my favorite part about it, so delicious when roasted with the rosemary, juice, etc. The meatballs were excellent and I loved the mozzarella stuffing.

Dessert was included! Chocolate almond biscotti, which we had with coffee once we weren't too full to move.
I really enjoyed the Peach Dish box and I would definitely recommend it. I found it to be just as good as Hello Fresh, but there were some differences. Peach Dish focuses more on Southern inspired dishes, and they also put in an extra course for each meal. This is usually either an appetizer (like the Miso soup) or a dessert (the chocolate biscotti). Sometimes sides are included (the rosemary roasted olives). I really love how you get the full meal experience with Peach Dish and we would absolutely love to have another box as soon as possible. You can check it out here: PEACH DISH
