Wantable Makeup Box Review: February 2014

Wantable is my favorite high end beauty box because they customize based on your personal preferences. The subscription is $36/monthly, and you usually get at least double that in value. Usually, I receive four items a month but sometimes it is five, and they sometimes throw in little extras.

I like the fact that we can exert such influence over the items we get each month. For example, for a while I was trying to stock up on beauty tools so I altered my preferences to strongly reflect that. Now that I've got my tools stocked up, I've shifted the focus of my quiz back to makeup. I haven't had blush in a while since I had "disliked" it on the quiz for the last several months, so this month I liked it again in hopes of getting a nice blush in my preferred shades. It worked (yay) so I am now playing with a gorgeous new cream blush. On to the Wantable box review!

Wantable beauty box, February 2014

NCLA Polish in "Dead End Gorgeous"(retail $16): I am a big fan of NCLA polishes as they have a formula that really works for me. I'm especially fond of their gorgeous glitters, so I was very happy to get this beautiful blue/violet microglitter.

Be a Bombshell Eye Base in "Undercover Lover"(retail $14): I really like this color. This is an eye shadow base that can be used on its own or as a way to give cream or powders extra pop. It can also be used as an eyeliner on the lash line, which I look forward to trying out.

La Bella Donna Baci Baci Lip Sheer (retail $26.50): This is a beautiful lippie in a shade called "Seduction," which does match my preferences for colors perfectly. These lip glosses have anti aging ingredients and also have added collagen. The La Bella Donna line uses mineral pigments that are highly refined, which means the color kind of flows over the lips instead of looking super heavy or overdone. Love it!

GlamNatural Cream Blush in "Barely There"(retail $32): This blush is a light cream that is so beautiful. The color is exactly what I prefer (as I indicated on my Wantable quiz), which is a very subtle and natural look. This is the type of item I especially love finding in Wantable as it's fairly expensive and I'd hesitate to pay full price before trying. This would cost $32, so this one item nearly pays for the whole box. The packaging is beautiful as well!
