NatureBox Review: December 2013 Naturebox Review

NatureBox snack subscription box is always yummy and has not let me down yet. I've had several different healthy snack services and while I had narrowed it down to this and Graze a while back, I  crunched some numbers and took a close look at the food labels. Overall, I determined NatureBox is a better value for healthy snacks, giving you more snacks for the same price.

NatureBox is normally $19.95/month (grab the code at the end for $10 off your first box!) and you get 5 bags of snacks, each containing anywhere from 3-5 servings on average. Your first box will be a " Discovery box" that is a good mix of their treats. After that, you can choose exactly what you want in your box each month if you like, or you can keep getting surprise boxes.

I customize my boxes because certain snacks are so great I've just got to buy them time and again. They regularly intro new snacks too, so I'm always trying out new things with NatureBox. Here is my November box!
My NatureBox from November!
Pistachio Power Clusters: So delicious. Sweet, nutty, perfect power snack for late afternoon. Need to order multiple bags of this next time as they seem to vanish fast around here.
Smoky Pumpkin Seeds: A really good smoky flavor that just feels right for this time of year.
Lemon Pucker Pistachios: I'm a huge pistachio fan and these are so great. The lemon tartness blends perfectly and I'm addicted to these!
Sour Cream & Onion Almonds: These are one of my favorites from Naturebox. They are almond halves that have got the perfect amount of sour cream and onion flavoring. I order these nearly every box!
Umami Almonds: These whole almonds are Umami and are flavored by Tamari soy sauce. Umami, by definition, is ... uh, hard to explain. It's not spicy or sweet, I guess maybe more smoky-ish. These definitely have that soy sauce taste, but not wholly. These are good but not my favorite almonds because there are so many great ones to choose from at Naturebox.
Sun-Dried California Peaches: These are great, and taste exactly like what they are, peaches with the skin on. I love them but not as much as....

Big Island Pineapple: The most delicious, addictive, OMG wonderful Naturebox food ever. They are pure chewy pineapple rings and they are more yummy than candy, I think. The only sad part is that they tend to run out of these really fast, so to get them you need to grab 'em quick. I hear they are restocking these in January and can't wait to order more.
The Naturebox you get will probably be different than the snacks you see here, since you can either customize or order the Discovery box. I've ordered an extra NatureBox this month, to share for holiday snacks when I visit the family. I'll have that review up in January!

You can get your first Naturebox for under $10 (that's just $2 per bag!) if you use the code SNACKHEALTHY on the NatureBox site here: NATUREBOX
