Wantable Review: June 2014 (Wantable Beauty Box)

 Wantable is a $36/month higher end makeup box (they also have an accessories box and an intimates box that I review sometimes!)

You get only full-size products with Wantable (typically four to five items each month), and they send you products that are customized for your profile. If you take some time to really customize your profile, you can dictate what you'll get pretty effectively.

Thanks to the high level of customization I virtually always get colors and products that are really perfect for me. Everybody's box is unique, so no spoilers - thus, opening it is always a great surprise!

Gleam Body Radiance Highlighter (retail $30): This product is new to me, and I'm intrigued by the concept. It's a highlighter, moisturizer, and base makeup in one. It can be used anywhere on the body to create a glow, mask flaws, or add color. I like this for summer since it seems so multi-use.

Nailtini Lipstick in "Starlet Cocktail"(retail $20): This is such a pretty lipstick. The packaging is beautiful, and the color is a deep scarlet that goes on lighter than you'd think by looking at it. I've had Nailtini polish before, but I'm glad to get to try one of their other products.

Mirabella Pick 2 shadow compact. (retail $10): This reusable compact can be fitted with any two Mirabella shadow pots (and I'm sure I can use other brands as well.)

Mirabella Shadows (retail $10 each, $20 total): Shades are "Cultured" and "Serenity." Photo is off, the colors are much nicer than they appear (lighter on both.) I like these so far, very silky and pretty nice pigmentation even without primer. With primer they should be amazing.

NCLA Polish in "The Spa Comes to Me " (retail $16): Well, cremes are not my favorite but I did "like" them on my quiz in an effort to break my glitter polish obsession. The sage green color is like nothing I own (amazingly enough) and I do like this for summer. NCLA is great polish for me and wears well, so I'm pleased with this.

 This Wantable box gave me $96 worth of full-size cosmetics for $36. One of the best Wantable boxes lately, especially if I end up loving the Gleam highlighter (I'll report back to you on that!)

If you want to build a makeup collection or replenish your supply with items that are just right for your skin and preferences, Wantable is a great choice.
