PoochPax Review: November 2013

PoochPax is a subscription box for dogs and Jade was thrilled to try it out recently. The box is made for small, medium, or large size dogs (the box in this PoochPax review is a large dog size) and will cost $29/month for month to month, $24/month for 3 month subs, and $19/month for 6 month subs.

As you can see, Jade has really been enjoying her first PoochPax!

Yes, that is a dog nose in the left hand side of the photo! Jade wouldn't leave the box alone long enough for me to even photograph it.

"A box for me! I think this is much better than all those beauty boxes mom loves so much!"

PoochPax box!

PoochPax unboxed!

Spunkeez Dog Toy: This rubber dog toy is something your pup can toss around and chew on. I like the toughness of this and the nubs on the end because it helps keep the dog's teeth clean.

Himalayan Dog Chew YakyYam Lotsa Chicken (4 oz package, retail $4.99): These are 100 percent all natural dog treats, preservative free, and gluten free. They were handmade in the United States, and they apparently really taste like chicken because Jade loves them.

Exclusively Dog Smoochers Drops With Yogurt (7 oz package, retail $4.99): These are Jade's very favorite new thing. They are pumpkin flavor treats that are wheat, soy, and corn free. They smell like pumpkin and are really pretty yummy smelling (pumpkin pie like.) The bag is nearly finished up now, much to Jade's sadness.

The Frog Toy! This is such a darling toy. The arms and legs are ropes and the body has a squeaker. This has been a lot of fun for Jade and of course she looks adorable playing with her new froggie.

Smokehouse Bacon Twist (full size bacon twist, $2.99 retail): This is a huge long bacon twist (around a foot long) and Jade enjoyed it very much. I was surprised by this treat because it lasted longer than I had imagined, as it is chewy. This lasted Jade a couple of days.

Flash & Glow Ball (retail $9.99): This is a really great toy concept! When you bounce the ball on the ground (carpet, etc) it will start flashing. The right inset photo shows it lit up on impact. Jade and I have lots of fun with this and has been rolling it around with her nose with great enthusiasm. It is great to see her ears and eyes perk up when the ball starts lighting up.
I'd call the PoochPax quite a hit here. My favorite thing about this new dog subscription box is that they sent multiples of each: Three treats and three toys is a fantastic deal and I really enjoyed the choices. Want to try it out for the special pup in your life? Check it out here: PoochPax!
